Captured screen images look coarse when printed

When you capture an image from the computer screen, it is sampled at monitor resolution (72 dpi is standard), so it looks coarse when printed at full size using the higher resolution of the printer. The resolution of most printers is 300 dpi or better. If you use Photoshop to change the resolution of the image, you can obtain a more beautiful printout. In this case, the captured image will be reduced in size when printed.
